Pacific Consulting Group Privacy Policy

Information We Collect.

We may collect information from you when you visit our web site and/or complete a survey form that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could personally be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer, household, or device (“personal information”). Personal information does not include publicly available information or deidentified or aggregated consumer information.  PCG takes data collection very seriously and has a number of systems and processes in place to protect any and all data collected, including your personal information.

PCG Web Site
Users of this web site are not required to submit any information, but we do use Google Analytics tracking to examine patterns of site usage to determine what information is most valuable and how people use our site. As such, your site usage is reported anonymously, but your IP address is collected for logging purposes.

PCG Surveys
PCG conducts numerous market research surveys on behalf of our clients. In most cases, surveys are anonymous and no personal information or personally identifiable information (collectively, “PII”) is collected as part of the survey. PCG also conducts surveys where self-reporting of PII is possible but is not a requirement of completing the survey. Some surveys also collect demographic data, which may include: gender, age or age range, race, ethnicity, education, employment type or status, and political or religious affiliations, and some surveys may also ask for your email address so you can be contacted about participation in future studies.

What We Use that Information for

PCG Web Site
Any data collected about using PCG’s web site is only used to analyze the amount and frequency with which people visit our web site and also to help determine how they found it, i.e. various search terms used on Google or other search engines.

PCG Surveys
PCG uses the collected information from surveys for market research and analysis according to the objectives of our clients. The data is aggregated anonymously, analyzed and then used for reporting purposes. Data may be aggregated by any of the demographics information we collect so PCG can report to clients, for example, that a certain percentage of people aged 30-49 responded favorably to a certain question in the survey. In addition, PCG provides usage data in the form of response rates, number of completed responses, number of partially completed responses, and other similar statistics.

We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.

How We Protect Your Information.

PCG employs a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of information collected. This includes the use of SSL certificates during transmission of the data, encrypting data that is stored, maintaining servers in a secure environment, and ensuring that nobody but authorized personnel has access to any data.

Use of Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on your computer’s hard drive to help improve access to the site and identify repeat visitors. We do not currently employ the use of cookies.
